In the previous post Blog Update 2 I mentioned Romans 12:2
We are bombarded with a lot of different doctrines growing up and individual’s are caught up chasing a lot of different latest trends within this world. But the Living word of God in Romans chapter 12 reference verse 2. Here we find in Romans 12:2 that, the bible teaches that we must let go of the way the world thinks and become more inline with how God thinks and chase after His hearts desires verse the desires (Trends) of this world.
I have found out over the years as a Christian (Bond-Servant) that trying to refocus the mind thinking pattern is more harder done than said but very possible through Jesus Christ. (Matthew 19:26 ) With everything going on around us, it is easy to lose mind focus upon Jesus Christ; especially when so many aspects are competing for our minds attention now days.
The word “Christian” is used loosely in today’s standards. I say this, because the word “Christian” is not considered for most individuals like it was over two thousand years ago, when the disciples where considered as a “Bond-Servant” towards Jesus Christ.
Throughout the New Testament, the word bondservant, slave, or servant is applied metaphorically to someone absolutely devoted to Jesus. Paul, Timothy, James, Peter, and Jude all describe themselves as “bondservants of Christ”Source → https://www.gotquestions.org/bondservant.html
As I started to say above, now days Christianity is seen as a “Religion” that leaves God back at the church doors until next worship service instead it being a “Relationship” between the individual and Jehovah (God).
To be in correct biblical standing with God (Jehovah,) We as “Christians” must view our personal faith walk as a “Bond-Servant” like faith walk, walking beside God (Jehovah,) instead of treating it like a religious fashion lifestyle, because Jehovah is referenced as our Master. (Jeremiah 32:17) and if we are not willing to be obedient towards our Heavenly Master in Heaven then, our faith walk becomes stagnate and we will not grow closer to Jehovah, like we should towards or Heavenly Father as children of the most High.
