To Fellow Christian Bloggers

Welcome To S.o.H

2 Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; 3 not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. 1 Peter 5:1-3

1 “Woe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of my pasture!” declares the LORD.
Jeremiah 23:1

Author Note: I’m not writing this post from a judgement standpoint I’m writing this post with Christ like love because it is what the Holy Spirit laid upon my heart to write… My hopes are as a Christian blogger as well this post helps you become a stronger blogger for Jesus! The recent fall I went through open my eyes to the seriousness of being called By YHWH, to care for others even beyond the blogging aspect.

Hello everyone! Today I sense the Holy Spirit directing me to write to fellow Christian bloggers because I have learned a lot since my recent fall. There are many Christian bloggers that shouldn’t be in the writing seat for it wasn’t Heaven Authoritative to do such… But also there are many that God has placed on the hearts of individuals to write about Jesus Christ! I will be addressing both aspects… My goal is not to offend or attack my goal is to help write stronger content that leads others to Jesus Christ, and not individual(s) engagement with a hollow relationship with Jesus Christ.

Writing on any writing platform can become powerful for Jesus to utilize as a platform to help God awaken slumbered souls! Before you continue down the path of writing ask yourself these following three elements. I asked myself these same three element questions that the Holy Spirit laid upon my heart recently.

  • Am I called to write?
Seek God in this area through the word of God and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, because it cannot be done with your own strength, nothing good will come from it even it appears as such.
  • Is the writings Jesus inspired and Holy Spirit driven?
The focus must be about Jesus everyone’s true Savior! The writings must be prompted by the Holy Spirit or no true effect will come from the writings.
  • Quality over quantity!
If you are pumping out a lot of posts in a days period I urge you to question what the drive is behind your writings? Many posts in a days period helps drive traffic but less is more for Jesus because quality becomes Holy Spirit driven and Jesus Christ, inspired content that will help affect others on a soul level deeper.

Writing for God, comes with great responsibility and I recently failed those responsibility aspects… Praise Jesus because the Holy Spirit showed me, my errors and by the mercy of God I was able to have a restart… not a fix it moment either a true restart. Writing content to lead others to Jesus must be completed with such care and precise mindfulness when writing the content.

I say this because everything is seen before YHWH, and God knows the drive behind the content… I was getting likes and comments on past content but on the back end writing the past content I knew deep down I had lost heart to have the drive to keep writing for Jesus in mind. I should have stepped down right then! but I kept pushing with my own strength and placed myself in the crosshair of the scripture found in the bible referenced above (Jeremiah 23:1) it surely could have been game over for me… I’ve experienced God’s righteous judgement before and ended up in hell as a teenager… I surely wouldn’t want to be judged for leading souls down a dangerous pathway… I’m guilty of such in the past pretense but I will not go that route again!

Blogging for Jesus! has spiritual effects that are unseen by our eyes and minds but are not invisible to God, this is why it is very important that if you are going to be in the writing seat every post must be Jesus Christ, inspired and Holy Spirit driven! period!!! there is no excuse before God that will save someone from God’s anger when it comes time for their soul to be judged when they pass away here on earth… The soul business God takes very serious and Jesus Christ, displayed the seriousness, through the beating He endured and the death on the cross Jesus Christ, also endured…

So, blogging for Jesus is not just blogging it is a leadership position that comes with great responsibilities and not all humans are called to handle such responsibilities either… S.o.H is not just about the blogging aspect that is a small part of my day working for Jesus, I spend time mentoring others and as well praying and hitting the streets to tell others about Jesus… I have experienced being hated for such doings.Praise Jesus because scripture states you will become hated working for Jesus Christ,

10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Matthew 5:10-12

If while blogging or any other aspect you do for the Kingdom of heaven and end up wanting to remain liked before mankind then this goes to show in that individual(s) life they are not fully behind doing it for Jesus. This not my opinion this is the word of God stating such… Here is the proof to the statement I wrote.

10 Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ. Galatians 1:10

As a Christian blogger at some point the readers are going to ask for deeper answers about Jesus and as a Christian blogger it is our responsibility to not forsake the flock God entrusts us with. We must be ready to go beyond blogging and lead them to those answers through the guidance of the Holy Spirit with Jesus in mind of doing such.
