After Long Consideration and Prayer

Hello fellow #hopesquad in a recent post I mentioned I was considering shutting down S.o.H on my other blog Mikel’s Journal here is that post link ⧉ I have been considering this for 6 months now and I do believe God is telling me after much consideration and prayer as well weighing the word of God on the subject. I have come to the conclusion that S.o.H should remain running and not become shut down.

I’m going to be straight forward 9 years ago I set out to write a journal type blog that spoke about the ups and downs of living for Jesus in a world that is not perfect as well with the limitations of the human body. Being real with everyone I was fooling myself back then because I was shy and as of late last year God healed me of the shyness. So, I do believe I should now push forward with the journal aspect of blogging about living for Jesus. To be honest we are each our own worse assassin towards ourselves.

Since I no longer suffer from shyness I have come to realize during the reality check God has given me recently since I went on bed rest because of a broken leg. Time is short and I cannot allow fear to hold me back anymore. So, going forth Soulja of Hope is going to go through a rebranding of sorts. Some of you veteran readers may have come to notice this blog adapts to new seasons just like us as humans go through in life with new spiritual seasons.

Please bear with me as I try my best to understand my unique calling from God better and bring forth that uniqueness through the writing passion and skills God has given.
