Welcome to Soulja of Hope, I’m your host Nico,
My hopes are the content is helpful to you in some way.
If you haven’t read part 1 yet I recommend starting there for this post to make sense.
Greetings #hopesquad Welcome back my hopes are you find helpful information in part 2 ☺ Many of you have come to like the rawness here while others have come to dislike it or even hate it… Many times during 2020 many tried to shut me down in various ways, and yet God was keeping the momentum going but I was becoming more lose than actually fulfilling the leadership position God granted me.
I say this because I was going through the motions of the Christian lifestyle while trying to cling to aspects of my old lifestyle that I was having a hard time letting go that God was trying to get rid of within me. So, why was I struggling with letting go then? Well, it was because for all my life I have come to know my identity as one way while God is trying to create a new identity within me that represents Jesus Christ, all the way as possible here on earth while dealing with the limitations of being a human.
2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
Nothing is impossible for Yahweh, but as humans we place road blocks along the path then get grumbling when we reach the road block and become feeling stuck and confused when in actual logical sense the road block is remaining there because I was refusing to let go of something that the Holy Spirit was pointing out to let go. Instead I would allow myself to walk with blinders on but this was tearing me away from having a meaningful relation with Jesus Christ. What can I say other than we are own assassins when it comes to self sabotaging ourselves to remain in our comfort zone.
Matthew 19:26 ESV
But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
For change to happen within me, as well → you ← we got to admit the problem is there in the first place, wearing blinders just quite frankly doesn’t help. This is a dangerous aspect that when goes ignored we start to begin living out the motions of life instead of seeing our Savior and Holy Father (Abba) being bigger than our problems.
Since the accident my life was flipped upside down and this is where I truly learned Jesus Christ, has to be the solid rock I stand on.
1 Samuel 2:2 ESVQuoted from the Bible 1 Samuel 2:2 ESV (English Standard Version)
“There is none holy like the Lord; there is none besides you; there is no rock like our God.
This turning out to be a more complex topic than I thought it would be to write about so I will be writing part 3 I will aim in part 3 to tackle the signs and talk about the solution outcome.
