Update About My Leg Progress!

I ‘m finally able to walk with just a cane and I’m also able to navigate stairs as well. It is time after being on bed rest for 1 1/12 months to get down to business I have been waiting for this day to come since the accident. The surgeon told me to increase 25 lbs. of pressure every 2-3 days and by this Monday I should be back to baring full weight on my left leg. I have noticed if I sit for even 20 mins my leg begins to lock up it is starting to hurt less to be on the move more than being still.

The surgeon advised me not to baby my leg for the x-ray shows the bone with the metal plate is solid enough to walk without a walking device I am currently using an cane because it helps as I relearn how to keep good balance. The goal set by the surgeon is to be walking with no walking device by February 1st. As each day passes by it is looking more and more possible that goal may be achieved.

I give all credit to Jesus Christ, for the fast healing and recovery of my broken leg. It is now time to get back to business and pursue some opportunities I was after before the accident.

I would also like to say thank you to the #hopesquad that encouraged and prayed for me when I was down on bed rest your support helped me keep pushing forward even though it was hard at times. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
